Actors and actresses usually go into hiding — at least for a brief while after a break-up — to avoid prying questions. Not Katrina Kaif. She has decided she won’t sit at home and cry over the end of her seven-year relationship with Ranbir Kapoor. Two days after news of their split hit tabloids and RK moving out of their love nest, Kat attended not one but two events.
The first, a party thrown presumably by her ex Salman Khan’s bodyguard, Shera and the second, the Mumbai Marathon. And here’s why it was brave of her do do so…
THE PARTY
She attended the do, despite the knowledge that her ex Salman would be at the same party and that it wouldn’t be easy facing him after her recent break-up. Katrina decided to attend the party as soon as she heard that Salman is coming as well. Ali Abbas who is also close to the Fitoor actress was spotted taking Kat to Salman and the three of them were chatting for long.
THE EVENT
On Sunday morning, Kat was spotted at the Mumbai Marathon, smile firmly in place. She was committed to run for a cause, but chose not to and her trainer Yasmin Karachiwala explained that the actress had a hip injury which is why she opted out. Hip injury or a injured heart, we can’t be sure. But full marks to Kat for going out there. She refuses to play the victim. Though she may grieve in the privacy of her home, Kat is putting up a brave front in front of the public and media. Meanwhile, Ranbir has not been seen or heard from since he moved back in with his parents.
Well, with the release date of her film Fitoor coming around the corner and with the news of Katrina being a part of Bigg Boss 9 finale doing the rounds, we wonder what’s in store for us! So Bollywoodlifers, stay tuned to this space for more gossips and latest updates!
